BRIEF RACAPITILATION

            The Robotics Engineering Association of the School Specialized in Science and Math Thomas Armstrong Toro High was established in 2010, by a group of about 12 students, between the grades 10-12. Our school, has competed in a manifold of Technology Challenges and Latin-American Vex Robotics Competitions by the Puerto Rico Institute of Robotics (PRIOR). Our association has partaken in all the seasons since it was established. These seasons were: 2010-2011 Vex Robotics Competition- Round Up, 2011-2012 Vex Robotics Competition- Gateway, Vex Robotics Competition- 2012-2013 Sack Attack, 2013-2014 Vex Robotics Competition- Toss Up, 2014-2015 Vex Robotics Competition- Sky Rise, 2015-2016 Vex Robotics Competition- Nothing But Net. and last year 2017-2018 Vex Robotics Competition- Starstruck. In these amusing and innovative competitions, our school was awarded with numerous awards including the: Energy Award, Sportsmanship Award, Design Award, Judges Award, Finalist and Championship in both divisions of High School, Rookie and Advance. In addition, our school had the opportunity, for the first time, to participate in the Vex Robotics World Championship, which season was Sack Attack.

            With the passing of the years, we’ve maintain our energy and remained active during the last 7 years, we have expanded our club, so that it now includes just over 15 ambitioned members. This year for the 2017-2018 Vex Robotics Competition, Vex In The Zone Season we have 3 teams (2270A, B, and C), 1 team in the advance division and 2 in the rookie division. We are 2270, from the School Specialized in Science and Math Thomas Armstrong Toro and we are so honored to be part of this amazing association that offers us an opportunity innovative, sophisticated, unpretentious, resilient and overall keeping in my sportsmanship.
